This book reminds me of Gone with the Wind a bit, because of its setting. I really liked all the characters and how each one had their own unique personality and motivations in the story and how each had their own perspective on the Civil War and the Reconstruction. The ending though was just "OK" for me...I wish the author would have given a bit more details of the future of all characters.Product details

Meant for a different audience... Turgid prose it is.
